Project Overview
IFI was appointed by Willmott Dixon to support a multi-disciplinary fire protection remedial project at Tesco Woolwich, a higher-risk mixed-use building requiring coordinated inspection, detail review and final reporting.
The project involved a range of passive fire protection elements, requiring inspection management across multiple trades and interfaces.
Scope of Services
IFI’s involvement included:
- Overall inspection management process
- Review and approval of fire protection details
- Inspection of passive fire protection remedial works
- Review of fire stopping and compartmentation interfaces
- Support with fire door, ductwork, damper and service penetration issues where required
- Review of evidence and supporting documentation
- Final sign-off reporting.
