IFI was appointed to inspect passive fire protection works at Bream Street, a new-build higher-risk residential building for London & Quadrant.
The project required monitoring of passive fire protection specifications and inspection of installed works during construction.
Scope of Services
IFI’s involvement included:
- Passive fire protection inspections during construction
- Review and monitoring of passive fire protection specifications
- Inspection of fire stopping and compartmentation
- Review of service penetration details
- Reporting of defects and observations
- Support with remedial close-out and compliance evidence
Project Outcome
IFI provided independent inspection support to assist with the monitoring of passive fire protection installations and specification compliance on a new-build HRB residential project.
