Project Overview
IFI was appointed to support fire protection remedial works at The Core, Bristol, a high-rise building containing office and residential elements.
The project required an initial survey of passive fire protection provisions, development of remedial specification requirements and inspection of the ongoing works.
Scope of Services
IFI’s involvement included:
- Survey of existing passive fire protection
- Identification of defects and areas requiring remediation
- Preparation of fire protection remedial specification requirements
- Review of proposed details and remedial approaches
- Site inspection of ongoing fire protection works
- Reporting and close-out support
Project Outcome
IFI supported the client by combining technical survey, remedial specifications and ongoing inspections to assist with the management and completion of passive fire protection remedial works.
